This article examines the critical strategic question of whether Russia possesses the capability to destroy the United States with a nuclear first strike while successfully precluding a devastating retaliatory response. Tento článek poskytuje komplexní rozbor řízené střely Tomahawk, jedné z nejuniverzálnějších a nejpoužívanějších zbraní s přesným naváděním v moderním vojenském arzenálu. Na základě analýzy oficiálních obranných zdrojů, historických bojových záznamů a technických specifikací článek rekonstruuje vývoj, konstrukci a strategickou roli tohoto zbraňového systému. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována jeho naváděcí technologii, historii bojů, nedávné modernizaci do verzí Block V a geopolitickým dopadům potenciálního převodu na Ukrajinu.
